Mad Men: Greetings and Salugaytions

MESHACH-TAYLOR-MANNEQUIN-WURQ-GIFThis week’s happening of Mad Men, “Wee Small Hours”, Non-Standard real got back to its Season 1 and 2 roots: sexual intercourse sex sexy sex, and how it intent eventually be the downfall of darbies. Or a man, if you’re Sal. Matthew Weiner said that this adventure focuses on “how people deal with their urges.” And insomuch as I ate not one but two Lil’ Drumsticks while watching (and no, I don’t believe that’s a euphemism), the restrain has a point.
First, you sire Conrad Hilton — or “Connie Hilty”, as we espouse — waking Don up in the mean of the damn night for notification. We swear, this actor was in some way less annoying as the Ben Gay swilling baseball instrumentalist in Major League. But hey – Don is a son to him! But how do you vote “Batsh*t Crazy Eccentric Billionaire in Italian? Hilton.”
Then you’ve got Betty and her changed Pen 15 Pal Henry. How this lady-love manages to lure in these masculine works of craft is something to truly be in awe of. But yet though their quickly scrawled notes to each other (could anyone understand his letter?) seemed to be dripping with passion, Henry suppress sends along Mrs. Doubtfire as a d-replacement to Betty’s impromptu rude fundraiser. Betty, in turn, throws an grown-up lady baby fit, driving to Henry’s organization, tossing a 48-lb metal safe at his dome, and then rebuffing his sexy manvances. She leaves his part, presumably to go pass out on her fainting embed and m-bate to a Hermes catalog.
And Sal. bad, poor Sal. While we all grasp he wants to get his G-ness on in the worst avenue possible, the last place he wants that to chance is at work. Or, should we circa:

So when yet another undeniably fair character by the name of Lee down, Jr., heir to the Lucky arrive at a fail cigg fortune, makes a late Cimmerian dark move on Sal in the editing leeway, we’re not met with the at any rate passion we saw in the lionized “Bellhop reaching for the tip – no – the other crown” scene from earlier this season, as opposed to an embarrassed Sal who would slightly not G it up at the workplace. Actor Bryan Batt quite outdid himself during this scene. The acting was beyond faithful, and heartbreaking.
And Sal. Poor, not up to par Sal. Gets f**ked. Not literatim, of course. Lee Jr. calls to fund Sal fired, and that’s certainly what happens. And as my gay friend put it “That’s some bull ish fitting thurr.” Now the show is down two of our favorite characters, Joan and Sal, and the gayest item we have left Conrad Hilton’s mustache.
completely, Don bones that teacher. This is purposes the only thing about the matter that just didn’t feel well. Overall, though, we loved the matter. It’s setting us up championing some major fireworks in the 3 finale and for next year.
It’s Columbus epoch, and we’re assuming most of you are even so in bed spooning spaghetti bolognese. So we’ll take off you with the AMC recap and seek what you thought about last gloaming’s episode.
