The Ladies Are Short, Long and Shiny on the AMA Red Carpet!

The 2009 American Music Awards descended on the Nokia arena in LA last night, which meant a superstar studded red carpet before the monstrous show. It was a pleasant combination of long and short dresses on all the ladies, despite the fact that some even found a way to do both simultaneously Rihanna in her cutout gown. Carrie Underwood has the beginning lead in Fab's best dressed count, but Rih is close behind. Alicia Keys stood in default in blue while Fergie's spacy slit meant she showed off some support as she posed. Nicole Kidman drained most of her red carpet leisure on the arm of her Keith Urban - speaking of which, over out all the guys here.

Shakira and Selena Gomez cozied up on account of the cameras in their standout momentary dresses while Demi Lovato sported some bling surrounding her neck.
