John Hughes Has Passed Away

John Hughes died this morning in NYC after hardship a heart attack while on a morning promenade. John was in NYC to upon with his family. He was only 59-years-old. It feels like the 80s (aka my girlhood) is dying and this is calamitous. Is this Summer over yet?
I have to thank John for Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast baste, Pretty In Pink, Weird Science (my favorite of favorites), Ferris Bueller's lifetime Off, Planes Trains & Automobiles, She's Having A pet, Curly Sue, Home Alone, Vacation, European Vacation, tear Opportunities and the list goes on and on....
