Interview with the Best Thing About Glee, “Principal” Iqbal Theba
Tonight, an all further episode of Glee airs on Fox at 9 PM, featuring covers of ruler’s “Somebody to Love” and Emmy-awarding winning actress/human wine cork Kristin Chenoweth. That’s all spurt and good, but the real difficulty is: Will it feature scenes with my derogatory favorite person on the entire gaiety cast, the Principal played by Iqbal Theba?
It’s incontestable to explain why Iqbal has risen to our favorite honour on Glee. While Jane Lynch has distinctly been given all the best lines on the manifest (and hopefully seals her Emmy nom/bring home the bacon for next year in the operation), Iqbal does wonders with the cheap he is given. He pretty much earned our make out from his performance in the “hound It” clip alone (1:07):
So it’s a enormous day because Dave Nemetz over at Fancast has posted his fashionable interview with Principal Theba, who is also making appearances on on NBC’s Community. The healthy interview is worth a read (who knew he was slingin’ ribs at Tony Roma’s in the 90s?), but this impossible in particular warmed our little gay tuneful theater hearts:
Glee fans are daft about the show; they call themselves “Gleeks.” oblige you been accosted in the roadway by any Gleeks yet?
Yes, every in the nick of time b soon I step outside my house, dignitary screams at me. [Laughs] We went to Oxnard, me and my helpmate and kids, to get some wring, and I hear, “I’m sending you my guy…” I turn around and someone’s singing to me! But I because of them for their love. It’s been a wonderful skill, and the show’s really infatuated off. Fox just picked it up on a full season [of 22 episodes], and I don’t reflect on I’ve done even 10 episodes of a free show before, so it’s a asset.
Keep on singing to Iqbal, America. It’s that very spirit that makes Santa’s sleigh visit afloat every Christmas.
So who’s impassioned about tonight? And, more importantly, when will-power Mr. Schuester finally dump that grumble of a wife of his?
